When we were kids, our parents always taught us the importance of good manners: Chew with your mouth closed, no elbows on the dinner table, and always remember to say "please" and "thank you". I have pretty much perfected chewing with my mouth closed and keeping my elbows off the dinner table, but occasionally, simply saying, "thank you" doesn’t feel adequate. Sometimes, someone will "bend over backwards" to provide exceptional customer service, a client will entrust me with a large order, or an employee will stay after hours to get the job done. How do you say “thank you” with more than just words?
Why not add a small gift, as a token of your appreciation?
Why not add a small gift, as a token of your appreciation?
Giving someone a tangible gift reminds the recipient of your identity and generosity, over time. Add your logo, name, and even the recipient’s name and you’ve got a powerful “thank you” with some real meat n’ potatoes. Try a tastefully decorated water bottle or a notebook….
Surveys have found that people who received a tastefully decorated gift expressed more good will toward the sender than those who did not receive one. Gifts help build relationships; make yours a memorable one.

ReplyDeleteAww, thanks so much :) A vendor gave me a really nice business card holder, personalized with my name, years ago....and I still use it today! More importantly, I remember the person that gave it to me and why! "Thank you" gifts work!
